Rooftop views, modern amenities in historical setting, unique art collection

Room size leaves much to be desired!!! Maintenance issues with flickering lights and unsealed shower drainage need urgent attention. Getting there involves tackling steep streets and steps, which can be a burden with mobility concerns!!! the absence of tea/coffee facilities is disappointingly common.

Take time to enjoy the rooftop views, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city.

This was our fourth time in Istanbul and honestly, this stay was the best! The location is super, just a quick stroll to Galata Tower and the tram. Got an upgrade to a sea view room, so clean and comfy, with all the necessities. Brekkie was local and tasty!

Only thing was, the shower drainage could use a bit of work.

had a super nice stay at bankerhan hotel! the location is perfect, super close to all the fun spots, and the staff, especially zeynep, were extremely helpful and friendly. the modern decor was really cool, and my room was clean and comfy. loved the tea they offered for free, and the wifi was fast and easy to connect to. totally recommend this place as a great base to explore istanbul.

but the breakfast options were kinda limited and the shower drainage needed fixing. also, getting there from galata tower was a bit tricky due to the steep streets.

Perfect spot in Galata!

Loved staying right in the heart of Galata! The area is buzzing with cool cafes and bars, and the breakfast was solid. The only thing was dragging my suitcase up those steep streets. The staff were super friendly and a big help too!
